As cat lovers and experienced cat owners ourselves, we know that the condition of your cat's skin and fur is frequently a reflection of overall health. Poor skin health can sometimes be traced to dietary insufficiencies or imbalances. Problems with the skin and fur are never just cosmetic. Symptoms such as hair loss, thinning fur, dullness, dry flaky skin, excessive scratching, thickened skin, infections, and odors can often be traced back to either a shortage or an excess of a specific nutrient. In fact, there is no more visible indicator of problems with your cat's overall health than problems with the skin and fur. The right nutrients in the right proportions are indispensable to keeping your cat healthy.

Sardine, Fish Broth, Shrimp, Crab Meat, Xanthan, Potassium Chloride, Methionine, Choline Chloride, Taurine, Iron Sulfate, Zinc Sulfate, Vitamin E Supplement, Manganese Sulfate, Vitamin B1 Supplement, Vitamin B2 Supplement, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Folic Acid.

Im writing to thumbs up this product and this avoderm line in general because i think its great but also to speak about the reviewer that keeps saying this product doesn't have enough calories. its a protein-based product with no fillers or veggies or ricey/carbs stuff and so its going to be expensive for less. if you want more calories, give more cans. my cats are very healthy. great weights. great coats. and this food has helped maintain my diabetic cat. just sayin:D

My kitties liked the fish and shellfish together. They ate until it was gone.

Not enough calories

So, typically for my 10lb cat, I would feed him between 6-7oz per day. However, with this food, he needs at least 3 can, and if you read the can, it says to feed 1 can for every 3lbs! That is a bit ridiculous, and this is not cheap food. My vet said that not all brands actually test their food's performance and this simply doesn't have enough calories. Anyway, now I know why my cat has been so hungry with his usual 6-7oz of food. I will be switching brands immediately.
