Comments about Weruva BFF Tuna and Chicken 4EVA Canned Cat Food:

My boys love this. I feed it only as a topper to their regular food. I mix just a small amount. It is their absolute favorite food. Petflow is the best too. Great prices, great coupons and super fast shipping.

Strike Out

Comments about Weruva BFF Tuna and Chicken 4EVA Canned Cat Food:

I'm a long-time customer of Weruva cat foods. But this is the first time I've tried their less-expensive BFF line. My heart sank when I opened the 10 oz. tin of Tuna and Chicken 4EVA to find that the factory had placed a really modest dollop of shredded chicken on the top and the rest of the 97% tin contents was what appeared to be the tuna equivalent of sawdust; material swept up after the main event and put into a tin.

Irritatingly, both cats took one look and immediately (and in separate rooms) started trying to bury their bowls -- possibly the most insulting act in an already sizable repertoire of feline insults.

It may be tempting to try to save a little money on these grand pooh-bahs; but in the end I'd always prefer to shell out in order to avoid such blatant aspersions.

Comments about Weruva BFF Tuna and Chicken 4EVA Canned Cat Food:

My cats are picky eaters but they agree on this one kind. The water content helps them stay hydrated and it's high in protein. It's grain free and although not all Weruva products are carrageenan free, this one is.

Comments about Weruva BFF Tuna and Chicken 4EVA Canned Cat Food:

After trying a combo pack, I decided to add new flavors to our cat's everyday diet. I have a bunch of Wellness cat food cans, but our kitty got tired of them, so I tried BFF. She'll now eat the Wellness food mixed in with BFF, but when she gets only BFF, she loves it. The Tuna/Pumpkin is a tad runny, but our cat loves that.

My cats eat Fromm dry grain free cat food but I like to add a little something to get them to eat as I feed them twice a day. They love their BFF canned food and like the chicken/tuna flavor in the yellow can best! It is very healthy looking, you can see the shredded meat, and it has plenty of juice for putting on top of their dry food! They love it and come running when I open the can!

Cats love it, I've got mixed feelings

Comments about Weruva BFF Tuna and Chicken 4EVA Canned Cat Food:

I'll preface this by saying cats shouldn't be eating tuna. That's the problem with this food: it's tuna (as are all the BFF foods). Fish really should be avoided for cats and tuna in particular isn't an environmentally sustainable fish, either. All that said, my cats LOVE all the BFF foods. I have a houseful of indoor-only rescue cats and I try to only feed them high quality foods. I tried the BFF one time when the variety pack was on a special, and my cats went so bananas for it, I have continued to buy it as a "treat" and only let them have it for one or two meals per week. Nutrition-wise, it rates pretty high (high protein, low carb, decent on minerals), but it definitely should not be the main part of a feline diet.
