This boot was designed by a former Nike Shoe designer and tested by the National Guide Dogs for the blind. It has a stronger, non-skid sole (as compared to Healers bootie) and the upper is a shoe mesh so it dries quickly. Even though the sole is thicker it is still flexible providing your pet a natural feel and movement as they walk or run. The wrap around design enables a great fit so the boot stays on. The hook and loop applied is high tensile strength hook that creates a firm hold even in snowy conditions.
All Bowserwear products are produced in Portland, Oregon with the highest quality material. No other boot on the market compares. Urban Walkers were created to protect your pet from everyday paw injuries. An ounce of prevention can go a long way to save your pet from injury. They are great for hardwood floors, boating, hunting, and outdoor terrains.
A Healthy Paw Pad is essential to a dog’s well being. They serve as a shock absorber, provide surface traction and insulate the dog from extreme hot and cold temperatures. Even though their pads are tough, they can still be injured. Depending on Breed, the back paws maybe one size smaller than front paws. The non skid sole creates better traction on slippery surfaces and outdoor terrain. All Urban Walkers are machine washable. People and pet approved – designed for and tested by the National guide Dogs for the blind.

I'll admit it...I did not read it is A PAIR of booties but instead as a set. I understand the reasoning, but felt frustrated when they arrived and I only had two booties. As others have shared, I went by the size chart and when the booties arrived they were huge. The bottoms of the booties are not hard rubber with traction like I need for my dog. They would not be good on the river rocks or the slippery snow. They would probably be OK on a hot pavement but since I only have two, one pair of paws will get burned. I kept the product because I had already tire the packaging apart in order to try them on my dog. I then turned around and ordered a SET that is better suited for our needs.
