Comments about Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract Cat Litter:

My senior kitty was soiling outside of the litter box and have done everything suggested, but he still did it. I mix this in with his usual litter and he has pretty much stopped soiling.

I love this litter because of the "low" dust factor. I paid the same as I would from our local pet store, but with free shipping, it is so convenient. Why carry 40 lbs in and out of the car when it can be delivered right to your door within 3 days of ordering.

Comments about Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract Cat Litter:

I was skeptical at first. Nothing so far had worked so far on our youngest cat. He just refused to use the litterbox. When the box first arrived all the pets had to examine it. However, only the youngest lingered to sniff the bag of litter. I can't tell you that he consistently uses the litterbox, but uses it significantly more often. I'm pleased with the results.

Comments about Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract Cat Litter:

I have had multiple cats for 20 years, have literally tried ALMOST every litter. I read an article by this doctor and tried this litter. Amazing. I have two cats out of 10 that mark. Nothing worked to fix their issue. Again did try it all. Read the suggestions regarding the size of litter box, the number, (always that I had enough), and this litter. Wow. The difference in my cats was just unbelievable.
Just to make sure, I did try going back to store brand litter and my problems came back along with the smell. I stay with Dr. Elsey's brands. I use this one and the other one made by this Dr.
            Everybody is happy. Owners included.

Comments about Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract Cat Litter:

I did buy this litter, because one of my cats started to do #2 outside the litter box. I even did not throw the exiting litter (was the "world's best" and it is expensive), I just sprinkle the new one on the top. It did work.
I am giving 4 starts, because I do not like that this litter is made from clay, it sticks to the bottom of the box and it is very dusty.
Next step for me is to try DR. Elsey's "cat attract" - I will mixed with some of the natural litters that I have and hope it will work.

            Helps With Litter Training

            By

Comments about Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract Cat Litter:

I decided to use this litter training product, which was recommended by a vet. I ordered one bag and used the entire product in the litter pan so it was deep enough that the litter wouldn't stick to the bottom of the pan, per the vet's instructions.

True to the advertisement, practically all my cats were using the same litter pan. Thank goodness this was a very large pan to begin with. Unfortunately, this meant they weren't using the other pans as much. So, that said, the litter delivered excellent results.

The caveat, however, is that I am dead set against using clay-based products, since it isn't healthy for the environment. Even if it was flushable, I wouldn't flush it in our toilet because we're on a septic tank system.

Once the litter reached a very low level in the pan, I emptied the pan of the entire contents and replaced it with my favorite environmentally friendly cracked wheat litter. I was happy to notice that the cats were still using the pan faithfully, despite the change in litter product.

The herb-based product is probably dried catnip, which I've got growing behind my house. What this says is I can buy the cracked wheat litter product here on Pet Flow, but add my own catnip to the pan as a training aid as needed.

The lowdown is that if you use a clay-based product already but have cats misbehaving, then by all means, buy the Dr. Elsey Cat Attract Cat Litter. I highly recommend it!
