If I have a cheaper store brand and Friskies, my cats can immediately smell the difference. I have 12 cats and give them two of the big cans of canned food each day. If I use one cheaper brand, I feed that one first, then dish out the Friskies. They all come running for that! I will sometimes buy the smaller cans and serve a couple of those also. Sometimes, I just say the heck with it and grab all Friskies. They DO know the difference and love their Friskies. I am always on the lookout for coupons for Friskies wet food, but they really only like the pate, not the other kinds.

With 10 cats, I've have been buying a lot of cases of a variety of Friskies. The new labels look alike and I should not have to put on my glasses to read if it's the correct food for the correct cat. Whoever decided to change labels so that many varieties look the same, does not shop for cans, put away cans, or quickly grab cans for feeding and/or don't care about the consumer. I'm sure my not buying any more Friskies won't hurt profits but there are many others who will find the new labels

Why no more Mixed Grill LARGE CAN ??

By

from Melissa, TX, United States

Verified Buyer

Been buying large amounts daily for the past 8+ years. Preferred the .78 price for the large cans at Wally World. Went up a FULL 39% overnite, WTH?! (Trying to keep several Ferrell cats fed). Used to be able to spot the right product from 10 ft away, then you changed the label, and I have to pick up and read EVERY SINGLE CAN to make sure it's correct, WAY TOO SIMILAR label!!! CHANGE IT BACK. Have been trying other products that will satisfy my cats; $$; ease of recognition and availability. I spend in the thousands each year (you heard correctly), if something doesn't give, you'll lose my business completely.

Label and Formula Change = NOT GOOD

By

from Chicago, IL, United States

Verified Buyer

you guys changed the labels and formulas on the Classic Pâtés and now my cat throws up and walks away from it and refuse to eat Friskies Pate! My cat has been eating Friskies Pate for years and had no problem until you guys recently change your formula and label. It took me a long time to finally find a wet cat food for my cat and now I have go find another brand of wet cat food. I went through two poultry variety pack Friskies pate this week and my cat will have nothing to do with your new formulated pate can food. I am so upsets I have end up donating 40 cans of four away. Why did you guys change something that was working and fine!!!!

The #1 choice for Genevieve

By

from Niagara Falls, NY, United States

My cat will eat no other favors of Friskies wet food! Please don't discontinue this. She is given only Friskies dry (no other dry food brands) but is not finicky about choice. Could she be a spokes cat for you? She is beautiful! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

They Don't Puke!

By

We can only feed mixed grill because of sensitive tummies. And hurray, they don't puke. We were a little scared when we heard "new recipe," thankfully it doesn't change too much cause they still don't puke!

Flavor appeal, not texture though

By

from Yakima, WA, United States

My 2 cats like the taste, but end up leaving "hard bits", pieces of bone, & pieces of skin on the plate, & if there are too many, they quit eating & walk away. The word "pate" is deceiving, in this & all other "pate" flavors they'll (sort of) eat.
