My dog loves this food.

My 5 year old boxer does love this food. I do have to feed him a little more than the recommended amount or he will start to lose weight. He is 60 lbs and I feed him 3 cups (prior to hydration) a day. Sometimes I supplement his food with a half a pound of raw chicken or pork per meal. But I reduce the amount of dehydrated food to one cup per meal. His coat is really shiny and his stool is small and formed. The convenience is nice but a little pricey. Keep in mind it says it reconstitutes to 55 lbs of food. But that is wet food and do not compare that to dry dog food. At 3 cups a day, he goes through a 10 lb bag in about 18 days. Where a 30lb bag of dry food would normally last him about a month. But he is thriving on this food whereas he was getting yeast issues and lots of smelly gas from several different premium dry foods. Good product.

This food smells great, is easy to prepare and my dog loves it! I really like that it does not contain potatoes, which is in many of the freeze dried foods.

I just started giving my dog this food and they absolute love it. One of my dogs has been having extremely dried skin and she also lost lots of weight because of the food; Honest Kitchen Turkey, but since I've giving her Grandma Lucy, her skin looks so much better and her weight is good now. This food smells GOOD and it makes me feel hungry : )

Where is the meat?

Ordered this a few times times, because of the quality ingredients , which would agree with my dogs food sensitivities. I liked the company stand on ingredients as well. I researched on it for quite a while. Both my dogs who have been on this food the past two months lost too much weight, even if feeding more than what was advised and supplementing with fresh meat. There does not seem to be enough meat/protein on it.

My dogs love these new potato free grain free Grandma Lucy products. Excellent smell, texture, and consistency, far superior to their Artisan brand, which is also loved by my dogs....obviously they built on what they know and do well!
