I love this food, a lot. I've never seen shinier coats on my huskies before trying this product. I've had people who have fed raw say that it's the next best thing to raw and orijen, at half the price. I wish I could feed this to my husky puppy, who is 11 weeks old, but the pieces are too big for small puppies. This is also a food that happens to be lower in carbs, so if you're looking to get your dog to lose weight, this is good food. I'd buy it again if I wasn't currently trying to fatten up one of my huskies

This is a really high quality food and I chose it because it is both grain and potato free - which is what one of my dogs needs , due to allergies. But only one of my four dogs liked this food. They often left food in their dishes, which they usually NEVER do. I went back to Zignature brand. Also grain and potato free, and they seem to really like it.

Comments about Horizon Legacy Adult Grain Free Salmon Dry Dog Food:

We used to feed our dog Acana for years, but her ears started bothering her on the first bag we got after they moved to Kentucky. Coincidence? Maybe, but we switched to Horizon Legacy mid bag and have never looked back. We tried the chicken blend, but for our girl, the salmon formula is where it's at. Highly recommend.

This food was recommended to me by a local pet store as a very high quality food. My dogs have been eating this food for about 9 months and are doing great. I alternate between the chicken and salmon flavors to give them some variety. I highly recommend this food.

I have one dog that can't have chicken and another that is prone to yeast infections. They both do exceptionally well on this kibble. Be warned it does smell fishy! I keep it well sealed.

My puppy is allergic to beef and chicken, which made finding a puppy food without either of the two sort of challenging. So, I started feeding him Horizon Legacy Grain Free Salmon Dry Dog food at around 5 months of age, because the Horizon salmon formula is for all life stages. He loves it! His coat is beautiful and he is developing very nice body structure and muscle from eating this food. The "new food" transition was easy, too. He likes the taste so much that I am even able to use pieces of this food as training treats with him.
