Great for Diabetic Cats!

I've been on the mad hunt for wet food that is 1. LOW in carbs, and 2. Healthy for my diabetic cat. Nature's Variety was the solution! All their wet food is under 3 carbs! My cat Kitten LOVES the venison, rabbit, and lamb flavors. My ONLY problem is the pieces of veggies in the food. I'd rather not see that and I pick it out. They sell a limited ingredient version, but he doesn't really like that. Thank you also for not putting carrageenan in the food. You'd be suprised by all the "healthy" brands that do put it in. Great product. Thank you!

Best food for pets with food Allergies

My guy Frankie is a picky eater with food allergies. I've tried everything from limited ingredient diets to prescription food. I contacted all major food manufacturers to see if anyone offered a grain free poultry free food which believe it or not is hard to find. Until I found Natures Variety. Frankie has been on the Natures Variety Instinct Rabbit for about 2 months now , so far no picking and his fur is finally growing back!!! Natures Variety is the only food manufacturer that offered a high protein grain free poultry free food which my cat actually loves!!

This food is wonderful! There are very limited ingredient, made in the USA, and there is no carageenan: all if which are critical for me. My kitties love this food and it is wonderfully consistent! Other "novel" protein canned food is not consistent so Nature's Variety Instinct is a huge relief and help to have around.

A Winner!

I've been trying to switch my cat to more of a canned food diet, and less dry food. It's been a real struggle finding a "healthy" canned food that she would actually eat. After reading the reviews for the Nature's Variety Instinct, I decided to give it a try. I chose the Rabbit and the Chicken Formulas. The order came very quickly, and while I was expecting my cat to go through her normal routine of sniffing and walking away.........it didn't happen! She not only ate it, but she loved it! Feeding time is now something she gets excited about. This is a winner!

All 3 of my cats really like this and eat it right up.

I am always searching for a high meat protein food for my cats, since cats lack the ability to break down grains and other starchy foods that are used as fillers. I believe in providing a variety of different meat proteins that a cat might eat if they could hunt (cats don't hunt cows or fish), and rabbit is definitely a good one, in my opinion. The only thing I wish is Nature's Variety would move its sourcing of the rabbit back to France, or New Zealand, instead of China. I have a bit of concern with China's record of pet (and human) food issues.

Other than that one major concern, I still buy large quantities of the Nature's Variety cat food and I recommend this for folks to feed their cats as another type of quality protein.
