Pawz Dog Boots

I purchased the small boots for my Shitzu as per the recommendation from PetFlow customer service and they fit perfectly. Although I have not tried these in the extreme temperatures (hot or cold), the are fairly easy to put on and my baby didn't seem to mind them much. Funny to watch him walk with them at first, but he got used to them quickly.

They Work!!!!

I have tried many types of boots to help protect paws in the winter. These are the first type that actually stay on.

So glad I tried these boots

I was pleasantly surprised by these boots. I did not think that my goldendoodles would wear them. While they are a little awkward to put on the first time, both dogs immediately forgot about them as soon as they got outside. The younger dog raced around a field chasing geese and squirrels in the snow and the boots neither slowed her down nor fell off. My older guy had no problems adjusting to them on his walk on snowy sidewalks and across salted roads. No more salt and snow in their paw pads! I purchased the purple Large size for my 62 lb. female and the green Extra Large size for my 100 lb. male. If you are on the fence about trying boots, my advice is to try these!

Great

I have been using these for 2 years and they are great. I live in the city so people put out lots of salt and my dog's paws would get sores after walking, but there protect her paws perfectly. It took some practice to put them on but they stay on through the walk. They normally last about 10-20 walks although it varies.

Needs a little alteration

I got these for my old man because he is having trouble getting up and staying up. These work great for this purpose. The only negative is that the opening is very small and fit too tightly on Bull's ankles. I gave it a little nip with the scissors expecting it to keep going but it didn't. Now they fit well and he actually does not mind wearing them, but boy do they stink when I take them off.

These paws really stay on, even when my dog was running in deep snow. I thought My Shihtzu would try to pull them off but he was fine with them on.

These things look silly but work fantastically well.

Hard to get on, took some ingenuity. Got a 2 1/2" ID pvc collar about 3 1/2" long. Stretch the open end of the boot over the pvc, then feed the pvc collar over the dogs foot and leg. Pop off the boot and repeat three more times. Salt does something to the rubber making it very sticky, I only got three uses out of each set of boots. Both the dog and I love them.

needed something to protect dogs feet from salt and debris. The 1st 3-4 times I put them on him it was difficult , but I got the hang of putting them on and dog shockingly will lay on his back for me to get them on him. He knows if he's getting them on he is going for a long walk. They do start getting really sticky together after half a dozen washing. Overall these pawz are great need to stock up again.

Pawz Dog Boots

1

These boots have the right idea, however, they are not nearly thick enough or reinforced enough around the tip of the boot that covers the nails and the bottom of the foot. No matter how much I cut and round out my dogs nails or how much extra room I leave to avoid the nails, the boots tear within just a few steps of putting them on. I would NOT recommend these Pawz Dog Boots to anyone except maybe those with very small dogs whose nails are fully covered with fur! Reinforce the toe area and the bottom of the boot and maybe I'd try them again, but at this point, I will not be buying them again and I will not be recommending them to friends or family.
