My cat adores this brush and starts purring like crazy. I like this brush because I don't have to pull out the fur from the brush. You see, I'm allergic to my cat so I used to hate brushing him and hair getting all over the house. So this is easy, just press a button and throw it in the trash. I also love the trimmer attachment. It removes quite a bit of fur and my cat actually looked a little thinner because of it! We also use these at the SPCA where I volunteer, that's how I found out about it!

for the sale price it is was a useable furminator like brush that i could use on cat while hubby used the furminator on another.
It turned out to work no better than a normal like brush and trimmer did nothing on our short or long hair cats, nor our lab..
The dander attract claim part made me laugh after i brushed our chubby cat and saw her fur and my couch was covered in dander afterwards! the brush had barely any dander on it, let alone hair that the furminator and even a regular grooming comb would of had tons of on it since her coat clumps up and must be brushed out..

in the end waste of $$ to me, i would of been better off getting another furminator. they at least work extremely well and will not require another brush purchase for years unless you want more than one..

Pros

    Cons

    • Bristles bend VERY easily
    • Flimsy, not durable
    • Very little hair removal

    Best Uses

    • None

This is the 2nd time I've tried this brush for my 2 cats. Both are short-haired & shed heavily. The bristles bent the very first time I used it today. I've had cats for 45 yrs. & never had any cat brush that is so flimsy. It also doesn't remove much hair, compared to other "self-cleaning" brushes. Don't buy it!

Poor quality. Does not work as advertised. Hair does not remove easily and its already falling apart after 2 uses on 1 short coated chi.

This was the best brush I have used so far for my dog. He would always give me a problem brushing but I think this brush didn't hurt. He has a thick husky coat and it worked beautifully. I would highly recommend it.

Lasted 10 minutes. Then tried self clean bristles. Bristle got caught and bent when I pushed button to self clean.

both dog & cat like it

Even our little pinszu likes it, he normally bites at brush when trying to brush him, but he lets us with this one. Really helps our cat who is older and fatty to get knots out where he can't reach.

I love this brush that I had to get three. I have carpal tunnel syndrome and It is a joy to be able to just peel off the clumps of hair with the touch of the button.

    This brush works great!

I love this brush. I have an English Lab and they shed a lot! This brush used daily has helped so much with hair in the house. It is easy to clean, although, it does take a flip of the wrist for me to dislodge all the hair. Maybe if I didn't brush as often and got more hair each time, it would fall out with a push of the button, but it is so much easier than picking hair out of traditional brush. Soft tips are nice, so no wires poking sensitive skin.

My cats love both the brush and comb

Both my cats love the brush and even the comb. I wish the fur came out just a little better from the brush but it sure beats the one I have used for years. I notice if the brush is fuller it comes out easier.
    Thanks for the product.
