My Cats love this!
About Me Long-time Pet Owner
Comments about Yesterdays News Soft Texture Fresh Scent Litter:
We've used this litter for well over a year now. It works great! Our 2 cats REFUSE to use clay litters, so we had to find something different. I like the fact its made of recycled newspapers. Both of our cats use this litter with out any issues - no UTIs that kind of thing. There is no dust from this litter! Our only con would be if we don't change the entire litter box weekly, the litter box gives off a bad urine smell. It doesn't clump so you can't take the urine out like you can the poop with the scooper.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

No fresh scent. Within 24 hrs it reeked. Does not cover solid waste unless it's all sawdust and the sawdust is pure ammonia from the urine. If you live in a small space FORGET IT. Worst litter EVER. The only good thing about it was no dust.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

One of my cats does not like it
from cary, Illinois
I think this cat litter works very well, just as it's described. Also, there is not really tracking - if there are some pellets outside the box, they are very close to the box and not in the whole house or in my bed.The odor control is very good, too.I am giving 5 stars only because one of my cats does not use it for #2 and the description says: "...your cat will readily accept."It should be a warning that NOT every cat accept this kind of cat litter. I read more reviews about that litter on different web sites and it seems that my cat is not the only one who does not like to use this litter.I am going to try "Dr. Elsey's cat attract" in the litter to see if my cat will start to like it and will write a review again.
