Previously, dogs with adverse food reactions had no dietary options that would prevent stone and crystal formation.

Adult HP is a prescription only blend of B vitamins and amino acids promoting a healthy skin barrier which protects against environmental invaders such as bacteria and yeast. Dogs with adverse food reactions (AFR) often have GI signs such as diarrhea.

• Zeolite helps prevent loose stools while coating the gut.
• FOS helps nourish intestinal cells.
• Beet pulp provides the necessary blend for good stool quality.

Our Lab has been on this food for over 4 years now. She seems to be allergic to everything . Our vet put her on this food temporarily to calm her ears down and every time we tried to change her to another food the ear infections would come back. So we just kept her on his food. She does great. We even use it as "treats" when we go for a walk. Her weight and coat are great even though I know that it doesn't have the best ingredients in it, it is WAY better than trips to the vet and seeing her in pain from red ears. It is way cheaper getting it from Petflow than getting it from the vet and they ship it right to your door! Just make sure they have your correct vet info.

Helped control my dog's inflammatory BS.

    By

My Old English Sheepdog (Gere, as in Richard), was diagnosed (via endoscopic biopsy) with inflammatory bowel disease before the age of 1 year. We had tried a few foods with him, never able to get his symptoms under control (along with medications). He has been on Royal Canin HP for the past 7 years! I can happily say that his symptoms are completely under control (besides the occasional flare-up). He gets his dry HP for breakfast and dinner and we either freeze or bake the canned HP into treats. Without this food, his quality of life would be no where near where it is now! :)

    Helped my dogs immensely

    By

I have two "special needs" dogs: one has stomach problems and the other has horrible allergies. Royal Canin HP is the first food we have found that solves both of their problems. Both my pups are thriving since we switched and I can't imagine changing to something else!

I've been feeding this to my amstaff mix for several years and it has all but eliminated the gas, nausea, ear and skin infections that other foods were causing.

    Great food!

    By

I have my senior dog who suffers from food allergies on this diet. He's been on it for at least 3 years. Best decision I have ever made. No ear problems, no AG issues and skin/coat are healthy. Because of this, my 3 other dogs are on it. Well worth the investment.

Finally, a food that works and that my dog loves!

    By

I am so relieved that Royal Canin HP exists. My dog has been plagued his entire life with food sensitivities. It has caused him to have extreme reactions such as gigantic facial hives and daily vomiting. Other foods such as certain limited ingredient diets have helped but none so much as HP has helped. With the other foods I've tried he still had occasional bouts of hives and stomach upset. Now that he is on Royal Canin HP he never has any skin or GI upset. It is such a tremendous relief to know that he is feeling good on a daily basis and I can finally feed him without worrying about how sick he might become. I am also extremely impressed with the customer service and dedication to quality that comes along with Royal Canin foods. Marley will be HP for the remainder of his life. Thank you!!
