I rescued two kittens nearly two years ago, brothers, they weighed in at 2.5 pounds and 3.5 pounds..At 2.5 pounds this kitty wasn't thriving and the rescue felt he may do better at home so I got to take them home with me. They were prenamed Allie and Barley, and were almost 2.5 months when I got them. After visiting our Vet, he put them on this food - they have never had stomach issues, their health has been wonderful and I attribute this to a good balance of this nutritious dry and variety of wet foods.. My vet says the dry food is the most important for their nutrition and health and that wet is very important for gaining additional water, but not for the nutrients.. My babies now 2.5 years old are a healthy 19 and 21 pounds and they are in great health. They love the smell of the food every time I open the bag they come running. I think it amazing that in 2.5 years, they never tire of this! this speaks volumes to me when it comes to finicky kitties. So good job Royal Canin!! Thank you

This prescribed food has helped one of my cats that experiences IBS. He hasn't been so content in a very long time. I have it on auto ship because when my cats are happy, I'm happy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My cat suddenly could not tolerate the food that she had been eating for years. She was having diarrhea until my vet suggested that I buy this. It took care of the problem almost immediately!
I have a rescue kitten who has very bad tummy trouble. After trying every food that is easy on the digestive system with no luck, I tried Royal Canin. This food is a life saver! Not only did it make her feel better, she loves the taste! But that's not all! My other two rescues love the taste, so every kitty in our house gets Royal Canin. I really don't know what I would do without it.
It was recommended by my vet and my cat immediately took to it even though he's pretty picky. It seems to have helped with his issue, which makes me happy.
We use for those who have digestion issues and all medical issues resolved.
One of the cats (Hayden) has horrible IBS. It took forever to find a food that would give him some kind of real stool. Poor guy was miserable, he would cry while and after going potty. His butt was raw from diarrhea all the time. He was miserable!! Well I tried Royal Canin Gastrointestinal High Energy and after being on it for three months he finally had some sort of form to his stool. This has worked miracles. He's been on it for well over a year and his coat is softer, his personality is better, and he no longer cries in pain.
