As novice pet parents, we've been through it all with a mature Ragdoll who developed IBD and was losing weight rapidly. I'm talking an extended hospital stay, expensive testing, etc. She lost 3 pounds (30% of her body weight=scary!) and was consistently vomiting. The specialist tried a couple different hypo-allergenic formulas with different brands, but the R/C Pea and Duck dry is her favorite. We free feed and she grazes on kibbles throughout the day. We also feed this to our other Ragdoll from her litter and he loves it, as well. I am happy to report her scans show her IBD has not gotten any worse and she is back up to her original weight when we adopted her. THAT is what it's all about, folks. Believe me when I say we celebrated every ounce and pound that she was able to put back on. She is back to her old, playful self, or as the vet reports stated "BAR"--bright and responsive! Your product has given us our girl back. Thank you!

Too expensive. These cats are lucky I love them!!!
The one who needs the special food still has issues with itchy ears and an itchy belly. I continue to buy the food because the vet says so. I assume it's healthier anyway, so whatever...

Helps control pillow pad

By

from Maplewood, MN, United States

My rescue cat developed pillow pad (Plasma Cell Pododermatitis) shortly after we adopted her. With steroids & Green Pea and Duck diet, she has maintained her good health for 7 years, with only occasional flares. My other cat is perfectly happy to share the food.

Awesome Results!!

By

from Shorewood IL

My Siamese cat is 15 years old but looks and acts like a 3 year cat. When we discovered she was allergic to other cat food due to the additives or vet suggested we try Royal Canin food. I am so glad we did, at her age she is very healthy and her coat is so soft. Thank you Royal Canin!

My cat's favorite food!

By

from Morehead City, NC, United States

My cat, Twilight, loves this food. I have tried various other brands and combinations and this has been her favorite for quite awhile now. I try to eat healthy myself. With Royal Canin, I am assured by my veterinarian that she is eating healthy also.

Saved our sanity!!!

By

from Indianapolis, IN, United States

Our little kitty has been on this for months now after going through numerous other foods, med trials, and general discouragement. It took only two days for her chronic diarrhea to go away after starting this food; and not only is she a much happier and healthier cat, but we are much happier owners-no more diarrhea! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

No more skin problems!

By

from Melrose,

After numerous visits to the vet trying steroids & even weekly bathing to clear up my cat's skin condition with poor results the vet suggested this diet. We noticed immediate results. Clear skin, glorious coat, no more steroids & no more baths! The selected protein diet is well worth the cost. Now our cat only sees the vet for her annual exam & vaccinations.

Keeps My Belly Feeling Good!

By

from Defiance, Ohio, United States

My veterinarian recommended the Royal Canin PD for my cat which has Inflammatory Bowel Disease. I have been feeding Sonny this food for several years & he does great! Very rarely does he need to take his Prednisone b/c the Royal Canin reduces the flare up's of his IBD. And to top it off, Sonny's coat is beautiful, he has bright eyes & a belly that feels good!

I have 4 cats, and only one that actually needs to eat a LID. And all 4 LOVE it!! I actually have had to take them out of the food bin because they jumped in it.

Great Food for Cats with Sensitive Stomach

By

from Minneapolis, MN, United States

I've given this food to my cat for years, because this is the only cat food that she can eat without getting an upset stomach. I am so glad that this cat food exists for my cat Zoe.

Great stuff

By

from Wilmington, DE, United States

My sweet kitten nearly died twice and was repeatedly in the emergency room. My vet finally determined it was likely a food allergy. Both my cats love this food and they are both healthy and happy thanks to this formula!
