While Mr. Meowgi may think he’s the smartest thing alive, let’s face it: doctors know more than cats. And sometimes the doctor says it’s best for your friend to go on a special diet. Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Urinary SO Canned Cat Food is made just for cats with dangerous urinary tract disorders, including those suffering from struvite crystals. It helps increase urine volume and maintain a crystal-free urinary tract, but all your buddy needs to know is this: Chicken Liver!
Why We Love It
• Lower magnesium content to prevent struvite stones from forming
• Contains heart-healthy taurine
• Promotes healthy lower urinary tract
• Recommended by vets!

After nearly dying from a severe urinary blockage, my vet recommended that my cat, Jazz, be put on Royal Canin's Urinary SO formula for the rest of his life. At first, I was nervous that Jazz would not like his new diet, but he quickly finished his first dish and has eaten it ever since. Royal Canin's food has helped Jazz stay happy and healthy.

One guy, a Meezer-blend rescue has oxalate crystals in bladder, going for surgery soon. Vet gave me SO loaf cans but not one will eat this...the sick one ate a few bites and walked away, despite being obviously hungry. However, they do like the crunchies version...but that does not provide fluid, and if everyone does not drink enough it would be disastrous...very anxious! Plan to try the gravy version...they all like gravy-food, with chicken or turkey as the main ingredient. The loaf has pork, I believe, as higher amount...and fish is in there...my guys don't like fish! Sick one is 5 yo, as are the 2 girls, and one chubbo is 10 years old...even he only barely touched the loaf food and wanted to bury it...and we all know what that means. ;)

Have been feeding this for quite some time and it works well does the trick
We are very happy with Urinary SO for Moe and Joe for a number of years!
We've had our CH kitty on this food for a while now and we haven't had any issues with bladder stones or infections since we've used this food. We feed dry food in the morning and a mix of wet/dry in the evening. This has definitely helped our cats urinary health!!
My 3 cats have all been eating this for over a year now and they can't get enough of it. I love that they are getting something good and it helps my one that gets urinary crystals.
I have been feeding my cat who has urinary disease Urinary SO for 10 years and I attribute his health to this kind of food. Out Vet says other cats with the same disease usually loose weight, while my cat has a stable weight for years. Thank you Royal Canine!
We have some picky eaters and now that they have to eat urinary food only they snubbed every other food but Royal Canine SO! The bowls are licked clean evry meal!!!!
I have been using this product for over 2 years. I almost lost my cat with crystals and Banfield Clinic saved him. At that time I was told to only feed him urinary SO which I feed in confidence. GREAT PRODUCT
I bought this 2 months ago, my cat love the taste and the crystals that were in his urine are gone and he is no longer having any problems.
We have purchased the food for over a year. Our cat (Mouse) loves the flavor and can't wait to be feed.
One cat developed stones so now everyone is blessed with eating urinary food. I'm so lucky! I can tell you that with "another" brand, not ALL 7 cats in the house would eat it. Sigh. With RC they ALL eat it heartily. Hooray!!
