I was prescribed this product after my boy cat had crystals. We put all the cats on the same food since they are all boy cats and they tend to eat each others food. Havent had any problems since we have been on this. We get automated shipments every 6-7weeks and if you shop around and find it cheaper PetFlow will match it. Its worth it to have it shipped to your house vs shopping around for it as it is prescription food. Cant find it cheaper in local stores and this is the best pricing based on the discount they gave me to stay with their automated service.

My vet recommended my cat use this food following surgery to remove bladder stones. I want to feed my cat what she needs, but the cost is prohibitive! Money is an issue and a small bag of food costs almost $40. I was buying two bags a month. $80 a month may not be a burden to some households, but it is a high burden on my family's expenses. I also tried to turn in two rebates, as offered by Royal Canin, and both got rejected as being turned in too late to qualify. I know that I turned them in before the deadline, but didn't have the time or energy argue with the company.

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Urinary SO Moderate Calorie Dry Cat Food:

My cats have not had any further problems with urinary crystals since they were started on this food. They also like it. The only problem is that Finley likes it too much and has not lost any weight. He eats the other cat's food too.

I have 3 neutered male cats and only one has had crystals in his urine and chronic Urinary Tract Infections All 3 boys eat this food and they absolutely love this food so much they run when they hear you pour it in the bowl. The best part about this food is that it works.Drew has had no UTI's or crystals in his Urine since he started rating this for not one illness.

LVE THIS FOOD!!!

I changed my cats to this after having them on hills c/d moderate calorie for several years, what a big difference! The change was made when my middle cat (I have 3, 2 with uti lifes) started having lose stools and couldn't figure out why. The dr suggested I changed them to the SO, so I do and i couldn't be happier! Their coats are healthier, stools are way better then they ever were and there's no begging for food in between meals! Another side note, hills food always left my food bin greasy at the bottom royals food there isnt even so much of a crumb left at the end! As a vet tech I'm a believer in seeing a product work, and give this product a full backing! Don't think I'll ever use hills food again!

We bought the Feline SO at the recommendation of our Veterinarian. One of our cats was having issues with Crystals even after drastic surgery. He got them monthly. Now he may get them once or twice a year.

My older boy, Gringo has one atrophied kidney and has been prescribed ROYAL CANIN VETERINARY DIET FELINE URINARY SO MODERATE CALORIE DRY CAT FOOD. I've ordered quite a few times from Petflow.com and have always had a good experience - user-friendly website, easy checkout, fast shipping and the product expiration date is always reasonable for the huge 17 lb bag I purchase.
