Over the last 40 years, Royal Canin has been committed to health nutrition with the aim of providing more precise nutritional answers, and adapted to the specific needs of cats & dogs.
Tailor-made nutrition for pure breed dogs. An exclusive kibble for each breed: a concentration of technical expertise born from the unique knowledge of Royal Canin combined with the practical experience of breeders.
Exclusive Kibble: Special brachycephalic jaw: The Bulldog breed is a good example of the "brachycephalic" jaw type with a very short muzzle. Bulldog Adult kibbles are exclusively designed to make it easier for the Bulldog to pick up and to encourage him to chew. Odor Reduction: This formula helps to reduce intestinal fermentation which can cause digestive disorders, flatulence and unpleasant stool odor. Bulldog Adult supports good digestion with highly digestible proteins (L.I.P.), and appropriate fiber content and high-quality carbohydrate sources. Healthy Skin: The skin reflects the dog's state of health. Appropriate diet plays an important part in maintaining the quality of the skin. The Bulldog Adult formula helps support the skin's role as a barrier with an exclusive complex of nutrients and helps maintain skin health (EPA and DHA). Bone & Joint Health: The Bulldog's heavy structure can put stress on their joints. The Bulldog Adult formula helps support healthy bones and joints, and helps maintain ideal weight. Enriched with EPA and DHA.
100% complete and balanced nutrition, Bulldog Adult Breed Health Nutrition is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO (Association of America Feed Control Officials) Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for maintenance.

I absolutely loved the bulldog puppy food for my cleft palate pup! It did everything as promised, shiny coat, healthy skin, well formed stools, and the special kibble shape was easy for her to manipulate as she figured out solid foods. When she was about a year old I switched her to the adult bulldog kibble. We still got the amazing skin and coat benefits, but with her being an unusually trim and active bully, the food simply did not keep up with her caloric needs. Since most bulldogs run (who am I kidding? Sprint) towards the chubby side; this food is on the middle to low end calorie-wise. We we're having to feed 5 cups a day simply to maintain her weight (and yes she has been tested for any metabolic diseases that could have caused her to be too thin) 5 cups was simply too much volume for my #40 pup to consume in a day and it lead to some gastrointestinal issues. We have since switched her to a more calorie dense food, but I would love to see Royal Canin come out with a line that offered the same specialized kibble along with the skin benefits in a more calorie dense package. Overall I would highly recommend this food to anyone with your typical lazy bulldog, but those of us with higher drive bullys may need to look elsewhere.
I recently tried switching my dog to a high-end grain-free dog food. When I did, she became a lethargic dog with what appeared to be, a lot of joint pain. I switched her back to Royal Canine Bulldog formula (she's actually a pitbull) and she's back to her energetic, happy self again. What a positive difference Royal Canine makes in her! My fur kids have eaten this for years and love the taste. It is the only food they will eat and I am so happy it is healthy for them. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I've been feeding my bulldog Royal Canin since she was a puppy. I have had very few health problems with her and I attribute that to the high quality of the food. It is shaped so that it is easy for her to pick up and it definitely reduces her flatulence issues. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
