Tried quite a few different foods for Jack. But he just gobbles this down and we let him, because we know it's good and healthy for him. "Jack" just turned 4 years old. He really "rescued our family" (too long to write here) Got him from the shelter. He was listed as a tabby. They didn't tell us, but he had a lot of health problems (he was on & off of Interferon for 2 1/2 years. So far, since 10/14, he's been fine. Must have been all your good food & our love. Many thanks, Betsy & "Jack"

WARNING WARNING WARNING---Royal Canin has changed all its formulas [cats too] it now uses Chicken BI-PRODUCTS Meal [ which mean that, by law they now use intestines which contain fecal matter, and other lower grade bi-products] the old formula was straight chicken meal, a much cleaner safer ingredient. IF you go to the Royal Canin page you can read the updated ingredients, that have not yet been changed on selling sites such as amazon. For years all i have given my Persians was RC for Persians. NO MORE--they loved the product. And i an lucky that i had some product extra, and frozen, to use while i find a new food that does not have chicken poo, and other unseen nasties in it. And hope i will be able to find some my fine but at times fussy babies will love as well---*sigh* sad times.

I have been feeding this to my fur baby for a few years now and he absolutely loves it! His coat is beautiful and he is so full of life. When I originally switched his food I did it gradually, and my Leo would puck out and only eat the royal canin kibble. He's even willing to eat his normal food as treats. Never looking back.
My cat has a beautiful coat and overall health along with healthy gums from this product . I feel i am giving her the best that I can for her.
Our cat had to have a tooth pulled and refused to eat his previous brand of food after surgery so we had to switch. After trying dozens of other brands and canned food we went with Royal Canin Main Coon and hes a big fan! Also noticed that his coat is so much shinier and soft since switching over! Cats love it. It keeps their teeth nice and clean too. Brought my cat to the vets for a checkup and she made a comment about how good his teeth looked. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
We have 2 maine coon cats and they absolutely love this food. The size seemed big to us (compared to other cat food) but it's just right for them. The shape is nice too...they are 4 years old but still playful so they do chase a piece across the floor every once in a while and will also use their paws to pick up and eat a piece. It hurts as bad as stepping on a Lego but it's no problem for their jaws and teeth. We allow them to graze/free eat and their weight has always been healthy (16-17 lbs ea). Our vet is always very pleased with their blood work and overall health at check ups. We couldn't be more pleased with their gorgeous coats and, even more surprising, lack of hairballs. Bright beautiful eyes, fantastic energy level, and always come running when we fill their bowl. They're definitely getting everything they need and then some! Pick is of Cairo and Layla with the royal canin kitten food but they have been enjoying the Maine Coon formula just as much if not more. By the way, we appreciate being able to buy in such large (and super fresh sealed) bags. Thank you! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have been using this for the last three years and my coons love it! They are all healthy beautiful cats!
I no longer have a maine coon but my Norwegian Forest Cat and all 3 DSH cats love it. They get positively mean if I don't add some to there food dish,
My 14 rescued cat's love this food. It has made their long coats soft and shiny and they fight over who gets to eat first.
I am a veterinarian and also a breeder of Maine coon cats and oriental shorthairs and siamese.......we purchased the Royal Canin Maine coon diet for our big cats but the osh and siamese love it so much that they will kick the coons out of their bowls and happily crunch away!!!!
