Description

Royal Canin MINI Puppy Food is a complete and balanced diet formulated to meet the unique nutritional needs of small breed puppies (up to 22 lbs. at maturity) up to 10 months of age. The digestive capacities of the small breed puppy develop with age, but rather slowly. An exclusive combination of nutrients (such as highly digestible proteins and prebiotics) promote optimal digestion and contribute to a good stool quality. The small breed puppy's immune system needs to be firmly protected during the first year of life, as it gradually loses the immunity transmitted by the mother's milk. Royal Canin MINI Puppy Food helps support the puppy's natural defenses with a unique antioxidant complex, including vitamins E & C and taurine.

Digestive Health: Easy to digest proteins and gentle carbohydrates.

Intensified Energy Content: Meets high energy needs during the growth period, accommodates digestive sensitivity, and satisfies fussy appetites

Dental Health: Specialized kibble helps to reduce dental plaque and limit tartar formation

Don't just trust your vet, get educated. Veterinarians recommendation is biased towards this product as they have a vested financial interest when selling through their own practice. I was distressed when realizing I had basically fed my puppy, in the first 6 months of her life, the best quality JUNK FOOD on the market at 33% protein thus possibility comprising her health at the most critical time in her development. Dogs eat meat in the wild. Buy RAW MEAT at 100% protein. If you can't afford it, like me, supplement with the highest protein kibble you can buy. 80 to 90% protein is available; just ask a REPUTABLE pet food store. Do your dog this favour. My 8 lb. Shorkie loves her venison every morning and eats her 90% protein kibble with liver treats every evening!

The best choice for my Dachshunds

By

Comments about Royal Canin Mini Puppy Dry Dog Food:

Both breeders where I purchased my male and female Dachshunds recommended this brand. I used a different product at one time and after it made my dogs have digestive problems I switched back to Royal Canin and will not use any other product again. You can see how healthy they are!

Royal Kanin

Comments about Royal Canin Mini Puppy Dry Dog Food:

I've used Royal Kanin since Kaci was 9 wks. because that's what she was eating when I got her and I've used it ever since. I leave it down and she self regulates so does the puppy. The only problem is the puppy eats the adult instead of her puppy chow.

Great Puppy Mini bites dry food

By

from Johnson City, TN

My Yorkshire Terrier has been on this food since I brought him home from the breeder. She feeds all of her adult dogs this food brand. Lucas eats it all at every feeding. I would recommend it to everyone. Excellent! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I love the product. It's great for my puppy's digestion. We tried a cheaper food and it gave him diarrhea. The price is hard to swallow though.

My pups LOVE this food :)

By

from St. Louis, MO, United States

I have been using this product for the past three years for both my pups. One has graduated to the Adult food but keeps stealing his little brothers because he loves it so much. They are happy, healthy, and their coats are beautiful. It is also reasonably priced compared to other brands. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Trustworthy

By

from Dallas, TX, United States

When I got my puppy, both my breeder and my veterinarian recommended Royal Canin Mini. My puppy enjoys it, has been growing at an appropriate rate, has a soft coat and healthy skin, and I know he is getting the proper nutrition. I work at Petco and suggest it to recommend RC products all the time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
