Taste of the Wild has expanded their offering with their two most popular adult formulas in a puppy formulation! High Prairie Puppy and Pacific Stream Puppy are the newest additions to the Taste of the Wild family and were developed specifically to be more nutritionally beneficial for dogs under the age of 18 months. The Taste of the Wild puppy foods were developed in response to customer demand. The demand for a puppy formula has created an opportunity to bring a diet specific to the needs of puppies to the market. The size and shape of the kibble in the puppy formulas is smaller than the adult formulas, making it the perfect size for a puppy-sized mouth.

My puppy loves the taste!

We've been using TOW now for years. Our previous dog had a sensitive stomach and was allergic to corn, beef, wheat and fish just to name a few. TOW was one of the few products available on the market that contained NO corn or wheat byproducts unlike other brands.

We continued to purchase the same brand for our new puppy and she's always extremely happy to eat!

Absolutely the Best Dry food for my dog!

We have a four month old Cocker Spaniel, she is our third Cocker. Our last one suffered from many allergies that were very hard on her, as she got older we put her on a grain free dry food and within a few months many of the allergy problems greatly diminished. She was eating less, her stools were firmer and she regained a lot of energy even in her old age. We now have a young puppy and the only thing she has eaten is Taste of the wild Grain Free Puppy, both prairie and fish formulas. She loves them, she has a ton of energy, she eats everything in her bowl, there are no potty problems and her skin and coat are looking great. We will never feed our dog anything but Taste of The Wild.

I've used this for my litters for several years with success, but this time I am using it for a purchased 4 month old that came to me with tear stains. He had been on Fromm and raw food. They seem to be disappearing. Time will tell.

Best value puppy food

We have a four month old English Bulldog who loves this food. His sensitive skin has never looked better and his wrinkles only require cleaning three times per week. He has a glossy coat and shedding is minimal. This food was recommended by his breeder and they were right on the money.

This is a fantastic value for high quality puppy food and we'll be sticking with this brand.

Best Value and Quality

I work in animal rescue and have two of my own. This is absolutely the best value puppy food out there! I have tried other high-end foods (Wellness and Canidae). They were also good, but I find TotW to be a better overall value.

I have also tried the lower end foods (Purina, Pedigree, Iams). These lower quality foods require larger serving sizes due to the fillers, so in the end you are spending less per bag, but having to buy more bags! I have a 15 week old puppy, and the suggested serving of Purina Puppy Chow that she was on when I rescued her was 4-5 cups per day (at 12 weeks). She was eating 5 cups and I could not put weight on her! She was very thin. With TotW, the suggested serving size for her is 3 cups and she was able to reach a healthy weight after the first full week of being switched!

What makes this a better value: The meat content is higher, it is grain-free, and is supplemented with fruits & vegatables. Pacific Stream seems to be her favorite. It has fishy smell, which she loves! If you prefer not to have the smell, the the best ones to get are the High Prairie and Wetlands, which are a little better because they have slightly higher meat content.

I also have a 3-year old husky and both of my dogs have very healthy stools and bowel movements on TotW and both of them have great energy levels, healthy coats, and no skin or health issues overall.

**Important Note** When switching foods, you should slowly blend in the new food more each day over 5-7 days. Dogs have sensitive stomachs and may have upset stomach if you switch without doing it slowly, especially if you are going to grain-free from regular foods**

Excellent results

I have switched all of my dogs over to this brand and they have done EXCELLENT with it. I have an elder dog of about 14 who eats the regular one and a puppy of 9 months and another of 16 weeks that eat the puppy version. The product is wheat free; the filler is potato. Also made with purified water. A little more expensive, but everyone is looking great!
