Wellness® CORE® is based on the nutritional philosophy that pets, based on their primal ancestry, thrive on a diet mainly comprised of meat. Each kibble is packed with a high concentration of quality animal protein, without fillers or grains, along with a proprietary blend of botanicals and nutritional supplements including probiotics.
Unlike many grain-free diets, Wellness ensures the overall nutrition equation remains appropriate for everyday feeding. Higher protein can also mean higher fat, minerals and calories. By thoughtfully selecting specialized ingredients and managing nutritional ratios, Wellness CORE delivers protein-focused nutrition - with balance, not excess.
Wellness CORE Turkey, Turkey Meal & Duck Cat Formula is chicken-free, fish-free and gluten-free and is omega-rich for healthy skin and coat.

My male cat is 6. He has been on this food for about 3 years now, with no issues. He was a kitten when I got him, and had intermittent diarrhea. A sibling had it also, and had some very expensive tests done which were inconclusive. My vet ran some tests also, but decided that his issues were probably allergies, so we started the elimination diet. She said fish was a not-so-common allergan, but after only fair results eliminating other foods, I tried the to find food w/o fish. I only feed my animals premium dog or cat food, and this brand of Wellness was the only food I could find, at the time, that had no fish (or chicken) in it. Mickey loves it, as does my other cat, and his diarrhea is no more.

I have 5 cats and 2 of them have allergies. I feed them all gluten and grain free products. I love this one because it has NO chicken ingredients in it. They all love it. Smaller kibble is great for my cat that had teeth extracted before I adopted him from a shelter.
