My darling lab has so many allergies! My vet recommended Wellness Simple Limited Ingredient dog food and it has been wonderful. Prior to using this dog food, my dog's skin would be dry & she would bite and scratch herself until she barely had any fur left. It was a nightmare! The vet I first went to gave her shots - every month! I hated it (my dog did too). Then I found (luckily) a wonderful vet who recommended Wellness Simple and I will never switch!! My dog is back to her beautiful coat and I don't have to mess with injections. :)

Filled their dish as usual and the food was left there for two days. I thought my room mate was filling their food dish but found out otherwise. So had to temporarily resort to a grocery store food till I could find one the little guys would eat. They were eating my Bulldogs food and didn't realize it till I saw them. Sorry, I know Wellness is a reputable brand but this one just didn't make the mark.

Comments about Wellness Simple Grain Free Natural Limited Ingredient Diet Diet Turkey and Potato Recipe Dry Dog Food:

Wellness products, along with other brands, were recommended by my vet. I've used them for some time now. This "Simple" formula was chosen to help my younger dog, who has allergies. There seems to be less scratching and licking, though they haven't entirely stopped, but I think there are fewer stomach upsets. My older dog no longer eats dry food, but when she did she liked this food.

My 17 year old dog has food allergies and has been eating this food for years and always enjoys it. It has no bad ingredients and seems to be highly digestible. This is the only food I buy for my precious boy.

      Good food, cans are not

My dog loves the food, agrees with him. The cans they package it with is very cheap and thin. Difficult to open with electric or manual opener. Makes me wonder what else they have cut corners on.

'Rooney' was being given Wellness by his foster mom. My other three Brits eat Blue Buffalo, but all of them like both foods.

Have used for one month. So far no improvement in their skin rash. Will try another month. I do notice they are both having increased bowel movements though...didn't expect that. Thought there would be a decrease since they are eating "healthier"

I have a dog that has a sensitivity to iodine and it is almost impossible to find a food with nothing in it to cause him problems. This is the only food he can eat and I have all three of my dogs on it. They are thriving on this formula.
