Uretic™ has achieved extraordinary results in tens of thousands of felines through multiple generations for over thirty years. It is created by a veterinarian and owes its popularity solely to veterinary recommendation and word of mouth. By targeting wellness, immune and urinary systems, Uretic™ natural cat food has proven itself as a diet that creates robust vitality.
This improved formulation is designed to take advantage of new processing methods to preserve natural value, and nutritional advances related to epigenetics and nutrigenomics. Uretic™ now contains higher levels of fresh/frozen and dried meats and organs, protein, and fat, and a comprehensive spectrum and higher levels of micronutrients/nutraceuticals including prebiotics,
probiotics, enzymes, omega-3s, antioxidants and more. Excess minerals are eliminated, natural sourced, urinary-important methionine are added, and small quantities of fruits and vegetables mimic what may be consumed in the viscera of prey, and contribute important vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and other nutrients.

I have 9 rescue cats with varying dietary requirements, but the most crucial one is for my male cat who is prone to UTIs. They get wet food too, but they like to graze throughout the day, so dry food is the way to go. We tried several Rx dry foods for him, but Pinkerton and his brothers would refuse all except Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Urinary SO Olfactory Dry Cat Food. Unfortunately, RC decided to stop making this food for some reason, so I had to start my search all over again. After researching many options, and reading a ton of reviews, I chose Wysong Uretic Dry Cat Food. ALL of my boys love this food so far.... though I have to mark it down one star because it does seem to irritate the stomachs of a couple of them. There hasn't been a ton of vomit, but enough to know it's being triggered by the change in food. I'm hoping with time as they get used to the new diet, that will go away. It has been nearly impossible to find a dry food they all like, and can actually eat without adverse reactions. I remain hopeful!
Wysong is an expensive food and worth every cent. My older cat has had uretic issues and i fed her Wysong and she did well. During a pinch i swtiched her food to a high end food but it wasn'r uretic. She began having issues so i switched back and she is doing well again!
The brand of cat food I had used for years quit making the urinary tract health version. My cat would get UTI's unless on special food. I switched to Wysong. She does eat the food, in typical cat fashion. I cannot give 5 stars for the food at this time because she hasn't been on it long enough to see if she ends up with a UTI.
When we adopted our senior cat at 10 years old our friends were already feeding her this food and we kept her on the same diet (along with Weruva wet food). She has had high kidney levels for several years, but on a good diet her disease has not progressed and she remains healthy and happy. We give her this dry food a few times a week.
I used this product for my old cats who both lived to be 19 years old. I believe it helped eliminate any chance of urinary tract blockages. I now use it with my present cats as a supplement.
The best alternative to the prescription veterinary brand for urinary issues. No more need to get prescriptions filled, all my guys love the taste even though only one out of the three has had a problem in the past they all are fed this food. Knock on wood no issues with struvite crystals anymore! :) YAY Wysong...
I am a previous Vet Tech. I have used this food for 4 years now. Previously I used the prescrition diet SO. My cats hated the prescription diet but would eat it anyways. Plus the precription diet has horriblle ingredients in it. Wysongs ingredients are superior to almost any other food that you comare it tooo. My cats free feed on this diet, I also go through litter more than I normally would because the food increases water intake so they tend to urinate more often which creates a healthier bladder. I have not had ANY urinary issues after switching to this foood. I would recommend this food to ANYONE that has cats with combination stone or just struvite stone formations.

I switched my cats to this food after one of them had a urethral blockage due to excessive formation of crystals in his urine. They all like it, including the affected cat, and as other reviewers stated I have noticed that they seem to get full on it faster so they don't go through it as quickly, which is a good thing.
My cat loves Wysong Uretic dry cat food! She has had a bout with a urinary issues. Since i started this food she hasn't had any more problems!

great ingredients and good option for people who have cats with urinary issues but who don't want to feed them the super low quality ingredients in prescription foods.
