Comments about Nature's Variety Instinct Originals Grain Free Chicken Meal Dry Dog Food:
This was the food brand that the rescue operation had so we kept the same diet. He seems to enjoy it so we are going to stick with it.

Was originally giving my Schnauzer / Jack Russel mix mutt a dry food from Petsmart that I thought was good. After reading the ingredients and searching online, I came across this food. My Pup has been eating this food for over 3 years and is doing great.

I have a picky eater and a girl that is so tuff to keep weight on. Tried many different foods and she loves the taste of Natures Variety. I give her the Raw Boost powder on top sometimes for extra flavor and she licks the bowl clean. I switch between different flavors every couple months so she doesn't have to eat the same flavor and it doesn't mess with her stomach.
Seems to be a hit!

I think if there is a clean bowl - It;s a keeper! Instinct gives a clean bowl and then some!
Gave both my dogs loose stools.

I tried to ease my 10.5 yr old (Royal Canin Rx diet) and 3 yr old (IAMS lamb and rice) into this, because I had heard raves about how good it was from my breed rescue friends. I started with less than 10% new. Unfortunately, it gave them both bad diarrhea, and I am sticking with what they are on. It is probably a really good food, b/c my friends rave about it, as I said. A shame b/c I guess my pups just can't handle quality :)IAMs and Eukanuba (my 10 yr old will be switching to this) are decent foods, just not 1st tier like Instinct is held to be.

My English bulldog LOVES this food!! It's one of the best out there. I like to rotate between chicken, salmon and duck and turkey! My dog is super active for a bulldog and the high protein is great for him. It is also potato free, which is great since he seems to be sensitive to potato. The canned, Raw and treats are amazing as well. I have tried them all with great success.
