Our cats' favorite!

By

from Columbus, OH

Comments about Nutro Max Savory Venison Canned Cat Food:

Our 4 cats DEVOUR all of the Max Cat chunky varieties. I think they like the Venison and the Duck flavors the best. I always know when I serve them this line of food, every bit will get eaten! My only wish is that these "chunky" varieties were made in a size larger than 3 oz - it takes a whole lot of these small cans to feed our clan :) I stock up on all these chunky flavor cans every week, and everyone is very healthy & happy! Thanks for making a quality food that our cats love!

Comments about Nutro Max Savory Venison Canned Cat Food:

Oh my! The two cats LOVED the venison food! They "inhale" the food and lick the bowls clean. Granted, the price is a bit high, but as a "treat," I think it's worth it, knowing the food won't be thrown away. This was my first purchase, so I bought the minimum because I wasn't sure if the cats would like the variety. Each time the food has been served, the bowls were licked clean, so next time, I'll buy the two cases.

    missing one thing

    By

Comments about Nutro Max Savory Venison Canned Cat Food:

i loved the entire max cat wet food line and wish i could still use it. since my house had to go entirely wheat gluten free i cannot feed this product to my cats. i hope the company will consider removing wheat from all of their food, i would definitely return as a loyal customer. my cats really miss the venison and they want to give two salivating meows up for those lucky enough to not be allergic to the wheat gluten.

    For the most picky eaters!

    By

Comments about Nutro Max Savory Venison Canned Cat Food:

I have been feeding my cat Nutro Max Cat since she was eight weeks old; she turned 16 a few weeks ago! Her long coat is still very thick and shiny and her eyes, teeth and ears seems to work as well as when she was a kitten. I will admit as the finances have gotten tight over the years I have tried to feed her other less expensive canned food, only to have her scratch herself bloody and bald from something in the food. So, she gets nothing but Nutro. My only complaint is that it is getting harder to find the two flavors that she'll eat; the Venison and the Turkey: they seem to be popular because the store(s) in my area never have more than a case on the shelf, if that.

    who would have thought!!

    By

Comments about Nutro Max Savory Venison Canned Cat Food:

just happened to see this in a hardware store and thought..venison??..my 3 cats are spoiled to say the least. Lilly, Scooter and Sadie..Scooter was my husbands' cat before we met..Sadie was mine but Lilly is "ours"..we raised her together from only a few days old because she was orphaned. Lilly likes to eat when we do so I give her a small can of cat food so she won't beg us for what we are eating..a bad habit we got into otherwise they always have dry down. Had to buy her a few cans of the venison for something new and she just loves it..the other 2 cats have to grab some too where before they didn't really care for canned ..had to make a special trip across town to buy some more..I call it "mouse meat" because she will take a chunk and act like she is hunting it...lol...I will keep buying the venison and today did try a couple of the other kinds to see how they are liked

Must be delicious if Buddy will eat it

    By

    from Westchester county, NY

Comments about Nutro Max Savory Venison Canned Cat Food:

For 4 years, Buddy would only eat NutroMax Chicken & Liver flavor. Anything else would get "buried" . (You know how cats make burying gestures as if they're burying something in the litter pan?) Well, I served the Savory Venison flavor to my other cats, and darned if Buddy didn't push my eldest cat aside to scarf down the Venison flavor. Now I can serve my cats their 2 favorite Nutrmax flavors -- more varitety for all!
