This is a terrific solution for a young cat with a life-long disease (IBD), and he not only adores it, but he is thriving. He's in ideal body condition with a super shiny coat. He is a happy active cat! We feel so lucky to have Purina vets working to create tasty, healthy food for a kitty with problems. I am a Director of Development at Penn Vet, and have access to a lot of veterinary expertise. This food was recommended by our Internal Medicine and Nutrition specialists, and it's been a a fabulous solution. Fosse and I thank Purina for working so hard to make a prescription diet so tasty! - Helen

Well tolerated diet for our cat!
We had a cat with chronic vomiting on nearly every diet we tried. HA helped resolve that within 2 days and she has been doing well for almost a year now. The only issue we have run into with the dry diet is that the kibble is often crushed and difficult to feed with an auto feeder because of the dust/crumbs. Otherwise this is a great product! Our cat loves it, some cats in my clinic did not find it palatable, but I have not run into that issue with my own cat.

My sensitive and picky cat LOVES this
My cat has always been a picky eater, preferring chicken and fish favors and turning away beef, venison, rabbit. When diagnosed with food allergies, she was first put on Royal Canin's hyperallergenic food. She did beautifully--what shiny fur!--but did not particularly like it. Finally, Purina came out with the HA Hydrolized dry food, and kitty loves it. She'sdoing even better on the Purina than on the Royal Canin--and is happy to still get a tiny bit of canned Fancy Feast. We all like junk food, right? Thank you, Purina, for making the HA Hydrolized. Keep making it!

No more vomit
from Killeen, TX, United States
I have a 14yo DSH with a history of chronic vomiting (2-3 times weekly minimum) and not finishing his meals. After blood work, physical exam and an ultrasound the rule outs were IBD or intestinal lymphoma. The DVM and I discussed long term oral medications but decided to try changing his food to a hydrolyzed protein to rule in or out IBD first. The response has been phenomenal. My cat went from vomiting several times a week to NO vomit in the last 30 days. Additionally, he completely finishes every meal! I am so glad we tried this diet and am very glad he is feeling better!!

Cleared up diarrhea, cat actually eats it! Often prescribe this food for my patients.
excellent for IBD
This product has changed the lives of a few of my very severe inflammatory bowel disease patients. many are clinically normal as long as they stay on this food only.
Has greatly reduced Vader's GI symptoms, palatability might be an issue.
Purina HA saved my cats life
from Zurich, Switzerland
After moving from Spain to Switzerland our cat suddenly became quite sick. She was distressed, lost weight, became dehydrated and lost her tummy fur through constant licking. After months of hydrocortisone injections we changed our vet who suggested she had developed a food allergy. As soon as she started taking Purina HA her health improved dramatically, her fur grew back and she became much happier and healthier. Shes been taking this food for 8 years now and remains very healthy. I wouldnt give her anything else now ! Shes worth it!
