When was the last time you saw a cat grazing in a wheat field? Never, because cats are carnivores. Check out those teeth! So, Redbarn uses real fish or poultry as the first ingredient in their latest cat treats. There are no grains or fillers, like many other cat treats, for less risk of food allergies.
Salmon, Tapioca Starch, Dried Potato, Vegetable Glycerin, Dried Yellow Peas, Brewers Dried Yeast, Poultry Fat, Natural Chicken Flavor, Lecithin, Phosphoric Acid, Salt, Glucono-delta-lactone, Titanium Dioxide Color, Sorbic Acid (A Preservative), Lactic Acid, Red 40, Citric Acid, Yellow 5, Acetic Acid.

I read the content of the ingredients and it has chicken fat, and other types of high calorie fattening items. The kittens go for the smell of the salmon. They learned that when they here the bag crinkle that they are getting treats & come on the run. The bag is 1/3 the size of the treats I bought at Walmarts cat isle. So they didn't last long with 3 kittens. It says not to exceed more than 8 treats in one day. With the FAT content in it.... it would be a heart attack waiting to happen. The treats at walmarts did not have chicken fat in it but listed cow tallow instead. How can that be a "treat".
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
