I'm sad to say my dog won't eat this food at all.
from Clovis, NM
It's truly unfortunate because this is a high quality product and the company is one of the few that promises to be GMO free.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I always fed high end dry foods. When my 13.5 year old lab mix developed a mega esophagus problem I had to find a food she would not regurgitate, which meant cook for her, put canned food in a blender or dehydrated food. After cooking and blending it for a few months I tried Thrive. Not only did she keep it down, but the added effects were a big plus. She definitely sheds less, has a beautiful coat, and is in great shape. She is active and does things she hasn't done for years. Even if she didn't need this type of food to survive I would continue feeding it. I might add, the company is great. They helped me find the right formula for her and everytime I have contacted them, I get an answer.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
High quality dehydrated food!

Just switched my Rottweiler with lymphoma over to Honest Kitchen in place of kibble. He's doing really well. Firm stools, great appetite. I add more protein to his meals such as cooked chicken and ground turkey or canned salmon as Honest Kitchen advocates on their website. It increases variety so the dog doesn't become bored with the food. Great product. Once the box of Thrive is gone we will be using Embark. I will post a review for that too.
My Cotons LOVE this stuff!
from Walden, VT
I like the idea that it is dehydrated at a lower temperature than kibble is baked at-- and the ingredients are great-- no wheat, corn or soy! My Cotons scarf it up!
